At Stokes Wood the safeguarding, welfare, physical and emotional well-being of our children and their families are a priority. As such, any concerns which contradict this will be acted on immediately.
Galaxy class have enjoyed science activities this afternoon. We have investigated the chemical reaction between an acid (vinegar) and a carbonate (baking soda). The children loved the eruption! Galaxy class then had a competition to see who could make the largest bubble tower. To involve parents, the children have planted sunflower seeds which will be sent home along with a diary to record the growth. Galaxy children love being Scientists!!
The children were following print trails. As you can see it was rather wet and muddy, perfect weather for following footprints! The children worked really hard on the activity and as you can see, had lots of fun.
